Aquarium of the Bay

Located at Fisherman's Wharf
Pier 39, San Francisco California

While you are at Fisherman's Wharf to visit Alcatraz Island Lighthouse and the prison. Take time to also visit the Aquarium of the Bay.

You travel through crystal clear tunnels surrounded by the Bay's most captivating creatures.
You can see Sharks, eels, Octopus, bat rays and other fascinating sea creatures. There is even a place where you can touch some of the sea life. It is well worth the admission price.

Here are a few pictures we took while walking through the crystal clear tunnels.

A couple pictures of sharks we saw

I caught a few pictures of bat rays, they were cool

We also saw a huge school of small fish

Here are some Jelly Fishes. I didn't see Sponge Bob though

They have a section where you can touch some of the sea life in shallow water
Here is MAC, my son touching a shark. They give you specific instructions on how.
